What cookies do
Cookies and similar browser storage can remember a basket, maintain a login session and help prevent fraud. Some information lasts only for the browser session; other identifiers remain for a limited period or until deleted.
Essential store cookies
WooCommerce can use woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_* to keep track of a basket. WordPress uses login and security cookies such as wordpress_logged_in_* when you sign in. Cookies are set when the corresponding function is used.
Payment security
When Stripe checkout is enabled and used, Stripe may set fraud-prevention and payment-session identifiers, including __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid. Their use and duration are described in Stripe’s Cookie Policy. They support secure payment processing.
Analytics and advertising
This version of the store does not run optional advertising pixels or an analytics-cookie service. If optional tracking is introduced, we will explain its purpose and provide the required choice before activating it. Essential store functions are not tied to consent to advertising.
Your controls
You can delete cookies or restrict them in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the basket, login or checkout from working correctly. Use your account’s sign-out control and clear browser data on shared devices. Clearing cookies does not itself delete account or order records.
